OUR Partners
Our partners are those that bring the care needed to the clients through hippotherapy or equine therapy.

Why Hippotherapy?
It can help with

Enhance balance & Strength
Balance & strength can be enhanced through sensory, core strengthening, coordination, proprioceptive, and vestibular inputs.
Trunk Core Strength
The movement of the horse can help to engage the rider's core muscles, including the muscles of the abdomen, back, and pelvis. As a result, the rider can develop better core strength and stability, which can improve their overall balance and posture.
Increased Endurance
Hippotherapy can increase endurance through cardiovascular exercise, breathing control, mental endurance, and therapeutic exercises.

Improve Postural Symmetry
Core strengthening, balance training, stretching, coordination training, and therapeutic exercises all assist in improving postural symmetry.
Improved motor skills
Rein handling, grooming, tacking up, tying knots, stirrup control, and therapeutic exercises all work to improve fine motor skills.
Respiratory Control
Riding a horse requires the rider to coordinate their breathing with the movement of the horse. This can help the rider to develop better breathing control.

Equine-Assisted Psychotherapy & Learning
